Eaton RMQ Titan Selector Switch, 2 Positions, Key Operated - RMQ-Titan / M22 Series - 216889 M22S-WRS

This 2-position selector switch from Eaton is key-operated to enhance security and safety in industrial and public settings. The latching design means it stays in position after being activated, so you have to turn it to switch machinery on, then again to switch it off. The key can only be removed when it's in the 'off' position and the front panel is clearly marked '0' and 'I' for immediate identification of the switch's state. The unit has a compact 22mm diameter for compatibility with standard setups.

Features & Benefits

• 60° angle of throw between off and on makes it comfortable to use

• Mechanical lifespan of 1,000,000 operations for long-term reliability

• IP66 rating indicates it's dust-tight and protected from water jets, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor environments

• Operating temperature range of -25°C to +70 °C means it can be used in harsh conditions

When are key-operated actuators used?

Key-operated switches are used to control potentially dangerous equipment such as motors. They're also commonly found in public buildings to prevent unauthorised tampering with lighting in areas including corridors.
