The male connectors on either end feature corrosion-resistant gold-plated contacts to ensure the highest quality data transfer. They're housed in durable, chromium-plated hoods too, which protects the connectors against small knocks and makes them easier to clean. The cables are sheathed in a white, fire-retardant PVC, which maintains circuit integrity in the event of a fire. An audio return channel means the cable sends signals in both directions, so you only need one cable to link a soundbar to your TV or computer screen.
