General Purpose ABS Enclosure Hammond 1591 Series

The Hammond 1591 Series of multi-purpose electronic instrument enclosures are ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards. Enclosures are made from flame retardant ABS plastic and designed to meet IP rating IP54.

Features and Benefits:

• Ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards
• Integral card guides accept 1.5mm (0.062in.) PC cards
• Lap joint construction provides protection against ingress of dust and splashing water, IP54
• Lid is secured with 4x0.5in. Phillips screws, black to match enclosure

What does IP rating mean?
