RS PRO Black ABS Enclosure


Get the very best in enclosures with the RS PRO black series. Our enclosures are made from high-impact ABS with protection from dust and water ingress. Upon inspection, the enclosure has a flanged lid mounted by four M3 machine screws, plastic standoffs in the lid for PCB mounting and a polished finish.

Inside you will find integral mounting guides to accept 1.6 mm PCBs and a

PCB adaptor can be used when horizontal mounting is required. During operation, these enclosures are resistant to temperatures of up to 80°C and come with an IP54 rating

Can the enclosure be used outside?

This enclosure has an IP54 rating so only protected from water spray, so this product is not recommended for outside use.

If the gasket accessory is used, the IP rating increases to IP65 which can protect against water ingress, making it more suitable for use outside.
