RS PRO 10 A, 1 Gang Switched Fused Spur, IP67


RS PRO’s 10-amp fused spur will automatically switch off live current in the event of a fault or short circuit, protecting you from electrocution. It doesn’t need to be manually reset after a power fault has occurred, and is a two pole, one gang socket.

The RCD (residual current device) socket can replace a normal socket. It has twin earth terminals and is suitable for use in circuits where high earth leakage currents are expected. The earth terminals are supplied with screws for easy installation, and its weatherproof casing has an ingress protection rating of IP67, meaning it's dust-tight and able to withstand temporary immersion in water.

The passive type socket is designed to not trip during power cuts, making it ideal for electrical components holding perishable items, like refrigerators and freezers. Supplied with technical documentation and specifications for installation, this component meets British Standards for electrical safety.
