RS PRO Insulated Crimp Spade Connector, 0.5 mm² to 1.5 mm², 22 AWG to 16 AWG, M4 (#8) Stud Size Nylon, Red


These RS PRO insulated crimp-spade terminals are made of a short metal tube that can be used to terminate an open wire with no need for soldering. They are also known as fork-wire terminals. You'll often see this type of connector used to attach wires to a stud, bus bar or other parts of an electrical system.

The units are made from brass with a copper-sleeved barrel to ensure they are strong and durable. They're fitted with nylon insulation, which has excellent non-conductive properties and is resistant to corrosion. The insulation has a flared design, allowing you to insert wires easily.

These terminals are certified as meeting the British safety standard (BS7671) for domestic wiring. They also conform with American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and British (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic discharge (ESD) requirements, so you can be sure the risk of electrostatic discharge is minimised.
