What is a Cat5e Cable?


Cat5e cables are a type of Ethernet cable, running from the internet source, like a router, to the intended target. It had a twister pair build and will excel in both home and workplace environments. Why Cat5e?

What type of Shield do these network cables have?


The choice of shields are between F/UTP and U/UTP. Both would be suitable for most applications, but as a guide, please see the differences between the two.

• U/UTP - This type Is completely unshielded with an unshielded twisted pair wire
