TESA Double Sided Tape, 19mm Width, 25m Length - 73210-00002-26

This double-sided tape is a transparent acrylic foam adhesive designed for bonding and mounting in environments that demand sustained adhesion and thermal resistance. It combines a foam backing with an acrylic adhesive to provide a secure Interface between substrates, suitable for applications where a discreet, clear joint is required.

Features and Benefits:

• 1000μm thickness provides gap-filling capability for uneven surfaces
• Acrylic foam backing delivers consistent shear resistance
• Adhesion strength 28N/cm supports Durable bonded joints
• Operates up to 180°C enabling elevated temperature use
• Withstands down to -100°C for low-temperature performance

Applications

• Suitable for mounting panels and nameplates
• Ideal for bonding trim and decorative mouldings
• Used with metal-to-plastic assemblies in fabrication
• Can be used for attaching insulation materials
• Suitable for securing signage and display components

What adhesive chemistry is used in the product?

It uses an acrylic adhesive formulation designed for permanent bonds and resistance to creep.

What backing material provides conformability?

A closed-cell acrylic foam backing supplies compressibility and stress distribution on irregular substrates.

How does the tape perform under thermal cycling?

The tape maintains adhesion between -100°C and 180°C, preserving bond integrity across wide temperature swings.

What Visual characteristic should I expect after application?

The tape is transparent, producing a low-visibility joint when compressed between substrates.

What width options are available from the specification?

The product is supplied in a 19mm width suitable for narrow-edge mounting and precision application.
