The 4D Systems Intelligent Display Module is designed and manufactured by 4D Systems. The ESP32-S3R8 processor provides multiple GPIOs, including UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, and analog functionality, while also supporting interfaces for the LCD touch screen, real-time clock, Quad SPI flash, microSD card, 8-bit IO expander, and native USB-C. The user interface to the gen4-ESP32 series features a 30-pin FPC/ZIF socket, designed for a 30-way 0.5mm pitch FFC cable, enabling easy connection to applications, motherboards, or accessory boards for enhanced functionality. This series is compatible with the 4D Systems Workshop4 IDE, utilizing the Espressif compiler and 4D Systems purpose-built libraries for a feature-rich design and programming experience.
