Schneider Electric Mechanical Interlock, Reversing Changeover Circuit Type, 40g Weight - TeSys Deca Series - LAD9V2
Step up the safety of your contactors with this mechanical interlock from Schneider Electric. You can use it to link two contactors that carry out the same function, preventing their contacts from opening and closing at the same time. This helps to reduce the risk of electric hazards like overcurrents and short circuits. As it's also designed to reverse or changeover the power in your electrical circuit, you'll find this unit is a handy control solution for your electronic devices.
Features & Benefits
• Works with 3-pole and 4-pole electrical systems for versatility
• Light weight of 40g for reduced strain on contactors
Applications
• Conveyor systems
• Electrical engineering
• Motor starters
• Assembly lines
How does a contactor work?
A contactor works by changing the state of the internal contacts. When its electromagnetic coil receives energy or is de-energised, it causes the contacts to open or close, turning the circuit on or off.
What type of contactors can I use this interlock with?
This interlock is made for use with contactors from the LC1 range, so you can be sure of a precise fit.
Mechanical and Electrical Interlocks and Interlock Kits
Kits are for mechanically interlocking two identical contactors. Prevents the second contactor from pulling-in if the first is energised.
