This RS PRO isolating transformer is designed for safely transferring AC power to your equipment. It has a primary voltage rating of 230, 245, 400 and 415 V AC and a ±12 V AC secondary voltage rating, so it works with a wide range of electrical equipment.
For input flexibility, the transformer's dual standard primary winding comes with a +15 V tap. You can also drive independent circuits with two separate voltages thanks to the centre-tapped dual secondary windings. The unit's varnish impregnation protects the coils from rust and humidity and increases dielectric strength. To reduce electrical interference and to make installation easy, the cage clamp terminals are fully shrouded.
These transformers are frequently used in control circuits and with sensitive electronics. This device complies with BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards, and its BS EN 615 certification means it's tested for safety and effectiveness.
