LAPP Cable Gland, M12 Thread, 4.5 to 7mm Cable Diameter - SKINTOP Series - 53112923
Use this LAPP cable gland to securely attach an electrical cable to its connection. It doesn’t have a locknut and its SKINTOP click feature is snapped into place, rather than screwed, so making a connection is fast and easy. The unit provides strain relief for the connected cable, reduces stress at the plug termination point and prevents cracking or fraying caused by extreme bending. With an operating temperature range between -20°C and +100°C, this unit can withstand use in harsh industrial conditions.
Features & Benefits
• Clip termination keeps the gland fixed in place, even when exposed to large amounts of industrial vibration
• Resistant to UV radiation, so natural light exposure won't degrade the gland's surface material
• Robust PA (polyamide) housing material protects against impact shock and abrasion damage
Applications
• Broadcasting equipment
• Computer peripherals
• Security alarms
• Banking systems
• Business intercoms
Is this cable gland protected against dust and moisture?
Yes, this cable gland has an IP68 (ingress protection) rating, indicating it has complete protection against dust. The rating also means it's able to withstand immersion in 1.5m of water for up to 30 minutes.
