Hannah Instruments Free Chlorine Colorimetric Testing Kit


Free Chlorine has a high disinfectant potential, combined Chlorine is less volatile and has a higher stability. For safe disinfection Chlorine levels need to be optimal, sufficient levels of unreacted free Chlorine needs to be present. Hannah Instruments presents a test measure kit for measuring according to colour saturation, the strength or weakness of a chemical presence.

Strong colours generally signal higher chemical presence whilst pale colour signals the opposite, this kit uses a colour chart to determine the concentration. This kit provides everything you need to determine free and total chlorine levels. Simply use the colorimetric method of measurement, a colour develops in the sample to be measured when the chemical (reagent) is added. This colour is then compared to a colour scale supplied in the kit which determines the amount of the parameter being measured present, and produces a result in mg/l.

Equipped with a transparent container with colour scales right next to the sample being tested, thus making colour comparison simple and error free.

Kit contains everything needed to carry out 50 individual tests and is an ideal kit for spa, pool and laboratory testing.
