This pack was distributed to schools across the UK as part of a major campaign by BBC Education, the Micro:bit Educational Foundation and Nominet, and is ideal for school teachers who want to try the micro:bit in or outside the classroom.
The friendly, simple design makes the micro:bit easy for an absolute beginner to pick it up and start coding. But dont be fooled, this tiny 4cm x 5cm device packs a lot of punch. With 142 components stuffed onto this tiny board, you can use free coding editors to program an incredible range of exciting outputs. It even has an edge connector to connect further accessories, external circuits or components, creating endless possibilities. The BBC micro:bit Next Gen classroom pack also includes a brand-new flexible micro:bit holder and strap, so you can easily attach a micro:bit to a wrist or ankle, to take your coding outside and on the move.
