This power tool from RS PRO is an easy-to-use option for quickly smoothing out surfaces. It's a random orbital sander type that moves in an irregular elliptical manner. This movement pattern allows for faster material removal and reduced swirl patterns, so it quickly minimises irregularities on your workpiece.
Thanks to its lightweight design and soft feel, it's comfortable enough for frequent or prolonged use. It features a built-in speed regulator for optimised control and produces low levels of noise for a quieter working environment.
There's also an insulated handle and motor housing to ensure safety from electrical hazards. In addition to using this sander for woodworking, you can use it to smooth fabricated metal parts, fibreglass boats and steel caps.
