MakerBot 3D Printing PLA Filament
MakerBot PLA Filament is the best and most consistent filament designed for the MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer and all Fifth Generation MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers. With tight tolerances to ensure steady flow through the extruder nozzle and the highest print quality. Every filament colour is comprehensively quality tested at both 100-micron and 200-micron layer resolutions on a MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printer to verify that the filament will perform every feature that MakerBot MakerWare software offers and reliably slice and print every time
Higher quality prints and minimised downtime

Once youve purchased your filament its important to store it correctly to maintain its quality. Over time the plastic will absorb moisture from the air, creating small water bubbles in the filament. These bubbles when heated in the extruder nozzle will quickly reach boiling point, spoiling the print. The use of desiccant dehumidifiers to absorb the moisture is highly recommend
Note
Always use MakerBot filament - use of third party filament may result in voiding the warranty on your MakerBot Desktop 3D printer
