The PSR series photoelectric sensors from RS PRO are economical and reliable compact devices essential for industrial environments such as conveyor belts in manufacturing plants. The PSR range offers a series of detection types that include diffuse reflection, polarized retro-reflection, through beam reflection and background suppression with various detection ranges.
How do they work?
A photoelectric sensor is a non-contact device which detects the presence or absence of an object regardless of material. The sensors do this by emitting a beam of infrared or red light at a photoelectric receiver to assess surroundings, detect objects or recognise the absence of an object.
