This bistable pneumatic control valve from RS PRO can maintain one of two stable positions without the constant application of power. Designed for use in applications such as robotics, textile production and the pharmaceutical sector, it offers an energy-efficient way to control airflow in a pneumatic system.

The hardwearing valve is intended for base mounting and set up in a 5/2 configuration with five ports and two switching positions. It's actuated by a solenoid and has a lightweight and exceptionally durable aluminium body. This kind of valve is often used to control double-acting cylinders.

Easy to install, this versatile solenoid valve fits onto a G-size 1/4 in thread. It offers a maximum flow rate of 1,200 litres a minute. The energy-saving solenoid consumes just 2 W of power or 3 VA of apparent power.
