3M™ Aluminium Foil Tape 1436 Silver 50 mm x 50 m

The 3M 1436 is a general purpose Aluminium Tape featuring a rubber adhesive and an easy to apply soft aluminium foil backing. Its used for a number of applications for internal and external ducting work. Making it ideal for heat shielding, heat reflections, light enhancement and sealing.

Application

The soft aluminium of the 3M 1436 Foil Tape has an aggressive rubber adhesive. This enables it to bond to a variety of different surfaces, including woods, metals and plastics. It provides good conformability, making it seal against rugged surfaces. The 1436 tape is capable of withstanding temperatures of 100°C without losing any of its fundamental properties only short term.

Benefits of choosing 3M Aluminium Foil Tape

Hot and cold temperature versatility. 3M foil tape works in temperatures to which other tapes can diminish. Performing in cold conditions allows this 3M tape to be a market leader, as other tapes see the adhesive harden and begin to lose sticking strength. On the contrary, extreme heat can melt adhesives of tapes, but not the 3M foil tape making it versatile for most applications.

General Purpose Foil Tape. An aggressive rubber adhesive allows a strong bond onto a variety of materials. Making is useful for internal and external applications, making it a general purpose foil tape.

Longevity of foil tape. Within the construction industry, the use of this general purpose is often used in areas that require a strong rubber adhesive. The rubber adhesive on the 3M aluminium foil tape offers better cohesion, adhesion and thermal properties.

There is no electrolytic corrosion factor associated with these products.
