The MCP9600 from Microchip is a Thermocouple to Digital Converter that translates the Thermocouple EMF into degrees Celsius with an accuracy of ±1.5°C. Integrated into the device is Cold-Junction Compensation.
The device includes user-programmable registers that allow the configuration of Low-Power modes, Temperature Alert outputs and Digital Filter for transient temperatures.
