Part of our professional-quality RS PRO series, the cable is designed for use in extremes of heat and cold and can operate safely at temperatures ranging from -60°C to +180°C without cracking or melting. Its flexible outer sheath and core insulation are made of a hardwearing silicone elastomer. The cable has an outer diameter of 10.4 mm, a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm² and comes in lengths of 50 metres.
Conforming to a number of international safety standards, this product has been tested to ensure its safe and effective performance as a stranded copper-conducting cable (IEC 60228, Class 5) that's flame retardant (IEC 60332-1) and halogen-free (IEC 60754-1), so it won't release toxic gas in the event of fire.
