What kind of safety features are available with this axial fan?

The motor within these axial fans incorporate a thermal overload protector. This will provide excellent protection to the motor itself in the even of a phase failure or electrical overload. Without the protector build in, the motor could fail or even become damaged. With the protection available, the axial fan will continue the airflow with no interruptions, even in a high pressure environment.

What is an axial fan?

An axial fan is a type of fan commonly used within everyday applications, such as air conditioners, computers and laptops. It causes both air and gas (depending on the application) to flow directly through it in an axial direction at different speeds. Allowing the air flow to be axial at both entry and exit. The most common versions tend to have fewer impeller blades than conventional ducting fans or centrifugal fans which have similar operations. Ball bearing or sleeve bearing axial fans are the most commonly used. However ceramic bearings are also used.
