This RS PRO 5/2 Pneumatic Solenoid Valve and spring is used to control pneumatic actuators within NAMUR interfaces. A pneumatic actuator controls the flow of pressurised air or gas to convert energy into rotary or linear motion. This set-up is often found in commercial settings, including the production lines of the food, drink and pharmaceutical industries.

For flexibility, this 5/2 way RS NAMUR valve can be converted to a 3/2 way valve, using the conversion plate supplied. It can operate at temperatures ranging from -10°C to +50°C and in pressure ranges from 2 to 10 bar, with a maximum flow rate of 1250 litres per minute.
