Festo Threaded Pneumatic Silencer, G 3/4 Male, 10 Bar - U-3/4
Need to quieten down a noisy exhaust port in your pneumatic system? This silencer from Festo will muffle the sound at the same time as preventing contamination that could interfere with the smooth running of the system. The device consists of a PE (polyethylene) insert in a durable PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) housing. It's fitted with a G 3/4 male thread to screw quickly and easily into the inlet connection. This silencer can be used at pressures of up to 10 bar.
• Suitable for use with compressed air
• Operating temperature range of -10°C to +70°C makes it suitable for a variety of industrial environments
• Free from copper and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) to reduce environmental impact

Why would I need a pneumatic silencer?
Compressed air vented from the exhaust port of a pneumatic system can produce sounds loud enough to impact environmental health. Silencers offer an easy way to reduce the noise to acceptable levels while also keeping contaminants out of your system.
How does a pneumatic silencer work?
When installed directly into the exhaust port of a pneumatic system, a silencer diffuses the exhaust air over a larger surface area, reducing turbulence and noise.
