Remote Communication Modules

The new remote communications offer for the popular range of Zelio Logic smart relays from Telemecanique enables unmanned applications to be monitored or controlled remotely.

The communication range comprises:

Communication interface module, which is connected between the smart relay and a modem. This module manages the address book and all alarm conditions
GSM or analogue modem (requires SIM card)
Zelio Logic alarm software

Examples for use include:

Monitoring of lift pumps, livestock premises (ventilation, food
level etc), refrigeration units, car washes
Remote control of lighting: car parks, warehouses
Remote control and monitoring of heating systems
Refuse compactor full or requires maintenance alert

Receive alert messages via SMS to mobile phone/s or an e-mail address
Send instructions to remote stations from mobile phone/s or obtain status information
Transfer or upload a program between PC and remote station
Update firmware from PC to remote station
Modify alarm sending conditions, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses

Zelio Logic Alarm Software (stock no. 615-2393) is compatible with Windows 98/NT4/2000/XP

Schneider Electric now offers a new generation of expandable intelligent relays, offering substantial advantages in flexibility and functionality. Zelio Logic 2 Smart Relay is the optimum solution to control tasks such as automating small machines within industry, lighting, HVAC and access control within buildings.
With the small footprint, simple programming, powerful control functions and the possibility of changing or modifying the program in case of changed application requirements, it offers great savings in space and price compared to other options.
Choose between two new series - Compact and Modular. The Compact series is not expandable and is available with the following I/O block sizes: 10 I/O, 12 I/O and 20 I/O.
The Modular series is available with 10 and 26 I/O basic units and is expandable up to 40 I/O with the latter. Apart from this flexibility both new series are programmable using FBD, ladder and Grafcet SFC programming languages.
User friendly design for easy programming and operation, either directly from the module using the navigation buttons or via Windows based software.
