SEC1110/1210 Smart Card to USB/SPI/UART Bridges

The Microchip SEC1110/1210 family of devices are Smart Card Bridge ICs with USB, SPI and UART interfaces. Through an effective combination of hardware and software the SEC1110 and SEC1210 offer a high-performance customisable solution. The SEC1110/1210 devices are certified to the latest USB and EMV standards to ensure interoperability with the latest and legacy Smart Card systems alike.

To simplify the development of custom USB-based applications these devices integrate USB Chip Card Interface Device (CCID) firmware. Also on-board is One-Time Programmable memory which can be utilised to host custom firmware or device data.
