The Eaton DC1 inverter series of compact variable frequency drives have been specifically engineers for today more demanding commercial and industrial applications. The DG1 is a universal drive, with a special emphasis on pumps, fans and conveyor belts. Inverter drive, also known as AC drives, variable frequency drives (VFD) variable speed drives (VSD) or frequency converters, are a type of speed drive that allows you as the user to adjust the speed or output torque of electric motors. Inverter drives are controlled by inputting specific frequencies or parameters into the device to tell it what to do, allowing for greater control over your machinery and operations. These drives have many applications of use from small appliances like a simple fan and pump load all the way through to high torque machine control applications.
